The Breaking the Line collection was born from a simple belief: women's rugby deserves to be on the wall, not just on the pitch. These original paintings celebrate the strength, athleticism and resilience of elite women's rugby players, inspired by the Red Roses, the Guinness Women's Six Nations and the Premiership Women's Rugby (PWR) season.
With women's rugby growing faster than ever, from sell-out PWR finals to World Cup glory, this collection captures a movement at its most electric. Each piece is an original work by Twickenham-based artist Agnieszka Lokaj, painted in response to the players and moments that are making history right now.

I'm a contemporary artist passionate about inspiring others to unlock their creative potential. My work has been recognised by the art world, with nominations for the Women in Art Emerging Artist Prize 2024 and the Visual Art Open 2024. I had a privilege to be selected as a wild card for the Sky Landscape Artist of the Year Series 6, Heat 6.
But awards and recognition aren't what truly drives me. It's the impact my art has on people's lives. I want to create pieces that resonate deeply, that evoke emotions, and that spark a sense of wonder.

In 2025 I received Arts Council England funding for my Touchlines of Fortitude project, inspired by the Women’s Rugby World Cup, celebrating female resilience and empowerment through cultural and creative events in Richmond borough.
